Action: Road and temple in a rocky pass leading from Beijing to the Ming Tombs and the Great Wall. Coolies with bamboo poles and pack mules travel the road.

Image Particulars: As shown by earlier photographs, the road was previously totally destroyed, with boulders everywhere.
