Action: Studio reconstruction of accountants at work. At the table, a man points with his brush in a book while another seated man and a younger standing one add figures on their abacus. Another one, bare-chested, looks on, smoking a water pipe. The round table is covered with a cloth, and also bears a pot with brushes, a clock and a flower vase. The chairs are Western, including that on the left, on which is laid a feather fan.
