Action: A mule is tightly tied with a rope to a beam and poles; the farrier works on its right fore foot. The scene takes place in a Beijing street Beijing; it is being redone, with people working on the surface of the lane the farrier works in. On the road above is a cart pulled by two mules. Passengers are in the distance, as well as pedestrians.
